“In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.”

NKJV

“In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.”

Part II– Key Word Study (Aramaic Vs Greek Vs Hebrew)

1. SALVATION

  • Aramaic: Purqana (poor-kah-nah)
  • Greek: Sōtēria (so-tay-ree-ah)
  • Hebrew: יְשׁוּעהָ (Yeshua / Yeshuah)

Greek Meaning (Sōtēria)

Deliverance, rescue, preservation from danger.

Hebrew Meaning (Yeshua / Yeshuah)

Deliverance, victory, divine rescue — but rooted in covenant relationship with God.

Aramaic Meaning (Purqana)

Liberation into original divine identity, restoration to wholeness, awakening to the life of God within.

Revelation

  • Greek = rescue from sin
  • Hebrew = covenantal deliverance by God
  • Aramaic = awakening into restored divine nature

2. WORD

  • Aramaic: Meltha (mel-tha)
  • Greek: Logos (lo-gos)
  • Hebrew: דָּבָר (Davar)

Greek (Logos)

Reason, message, doctrine, expression.

Hebrew (Davar)

Word, event, action — a word that does what it says.

Aramaic (Meltha)

Living manifestation, creative force, active expression of divine reality.

Revelation

The “Word of Truth” is not information: It is creative power that manifests reality within you.

3. SEALED

  • Aramaic: Khatam (kha-tam)
  • Greek: Sphragizō (sfrag-id-zo)
  • Hebrew: חָתַם (Chatham)

Greek Meaning

Stamped, marked, ownership seal.

Hebrew Meaning (Chatham)

To seal, secure, confirm, authenticate.

Aramaic Meaning

To be inwardly engraved, spiritually impressed, infused with divine identity.

Revelation

Not an external mark— It is God imprinting His nature within your being.

4. SPIRIT

  • Aramaic: Rukha d’Qudsha
  • Greek: Pneuma Hagion
  • Hebrew: רוּחַ הַקֹּדֶשׁ (Ruach HaKodesh)

Greek Meaning

Holy Spirit (divine agent)

Hebrew Meaning (Ruach)

Breath, wind, spirit — the moving presence of God.

Aramaic Meaning

The breath of God, indwelling life-force, divine essence within man.

Revelation

The Spirit is not distant— It is the very breath of God within you.

Part III – Verses 15–18: The Eyes Of Understanding

Ephesians 1:17–18 (KJV)

“…the spirit of wisdom and revelation… the eyes of your understanding being enlightened…”

1. REVELATION

Greek Meaning

Unveiling.

Hebrew Meaning

Uncovering, revealing what was hidden.

2. EYES OF UNDERSTANDING

Revelation

Spiritual sight is not mental— It is perception through the heart (Lev).

3. HOPE

  • Greek: Elpis
  • Hebrew: תִּקְוָה (Tikvah)

Greek Meaning

Expectation.

Hebrew Meaning

Cord, tension, expectation tied to promise.

Aramaic Meaning

Confident inner knowing.

Revelation

Hope is not wishing— It is anchored certainty within the soul.

Part IV – Verses 19–21: The Power Within

Ephesians 1:19 (NKJV)

“…the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe…”

1. POWER

Divine strength, force, inherent ability.

2. WORKING

Revelation

This is not external power from heaven— This is divine energy already operating within you.

Part V – Verses 20–22: Christ Exalted

To rise, stand, be established.

Revelation:
Not only resurrection—
It is elevation into divine awareness.

RIGHT HAND

Authority, power, favor, strength.

Revelation:
The right hand symbolizes the place of supreme authority,
where divine power and honor are fully manifested.

HEAD

• Aramaic: Risha
• Greek: Kephalē
• Hebrew: רֹאשׁ (Rosh)

Head, source, origin, beginning.

Revelation:
Christ is not just ruler—
He is the source of life flowing through all things.

Ephesians 1:13–22 is not about:

  • Religion
  • External salvation
  • Future heaven

It is about:

  • Awakening of the Spirit within
  • Realization of divine power already present
  • Alignment with the living God inside

Final Declaration

You are not waiting for power. You are not seeking salvation outside.

According to the deeper revelation:
  • יְשׁוּעָה (Yeshua) — Salvation is within you
  • רוּחַ (Ruach) — God is breathing in you
  • כֹּחַ (Koach) — Power is working through you

Conclusion

The Apostle Paul was not teaching religion. He was unveiling a mystery:

The Kingdom of God is within you.
