Method of Teaching Is Questions and Answers
- It Encourages Active Engagement: It makes Bible study interactive, prompting deeper reflection.
- It Promotes Spiritual Growth: By actively seeking answers, believers gain personal revelation and wisdom.
- It Develops Critical Thinking: It teaches believers to think carefully about what Scripture is saying and how it applies to their lives.
- It Enhances Understanding: Asking the right questions helps unlock the deeper meanings and insights of biblical texts.
This methodology aligns with Testimony of God Ministries Inc.’s focus on revelation knowledge, as it encourages believers to seek wisdom and understanding through active teachings, and discussions of the Scriptures.
WHAT IS THE KINGDOM OF GOD/HEAVEN WITHIN?
It’s the Spiritual Foundation: Inner Man of the Heart
Before Jesus began His ministry and uttered His first command — “Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 4:17) — He was led by the Spirit into the wilderness.
There, He experienced firsthand the spiritual laws that govern the inner man of the heart.
In that wilderness, He faced not a physical devil with horns, but the adverse thoughts of destruction, doubt, and unbelief that arise within the subconscious mind — the same forces that every believer must overcome.
These represent the voices that say, “You lack,” “You’re alone,” “Prove yourself.”
Each temptation corresponded to a mental law:
1. Turn stones into bread — the temptation of self-reliance and material reasoning.
2. Cast yourself down — the temptation of pride and testing divine truth.
3. Bow to the kingdoms of the world — the temptation of illusion of wealth and power through ego.
Jesus answered each inward suggestion with the Word of God, revealing that truth spoken from a Christ/God Centric mindset.
Jesus conquered the wilderness of human thought in the “Inner Man of the Heart” and emerged with the message:
“Repent” — Renew your Mind.
This became the foundation of His entire ministry — the renewal of the inner man of the heart, the subconscious soil where the Kingdom is experienced.
Immediately after this, He taught the first parable — the Parable of the Sower, revealing how to cultivate that inner man of the heart renewal.
